South Park Primary School -

In the next couple of weeks we will be continuing with the range of activities that we run for children at the end of the school day. Activities will begin the week beginning 16th January and run for 9 weeks until the week ending with Friday 23rd March.

All after-school activities will continue to be charged for (children entitled to free school meals do not need to pay as Government funding covers all charges). This is so that we can pay outside providers and school staff who are willing to give up their time to run some fantastic activities for your children.

Once your child has paid for and started to attend a club, no refunds can be given.

All after-school activities will run from 3.15pm to 4.15pm. Parents and carers will be expected to collect their children at 4.15pm. At the end of the school day, school staff will ensure that children are taken to their activity.

The activities are listed below– you will notice that there are some new activities on offer. We now have clubs set up purely for our youngest children in the Reception year. These are being run by qualified Nursery Nurses and cover a range of fun activities such as ICT, arts & craft and the development of physical skills. We have also introduced an ICT club for children in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 and a new Hula-Hooping club!

We hope most children find something that they would like to join in with.
