Re: End of Year 6 Activities

Monday 23rd June: Stubbers Adventure Centre Upminster

On Monday, the children will be travelling to Stubbers Adventure Centre in Upminster, to partake in a range of exciting activities. We will be travelling using coaches, fitted with seatbelts. The centre’s sessions include Bushcraft, Crate Stack, Leap of Faith, Vertical Obstacle Course, Raft Building, Archery, Axe Throwing and Rifle Shooting. The day will comprise of three of these adventure activity sessions, all of which will be led by qualified staff.

Wednesday 24th June: Sight-seeing tour of Central London / Museum visit (tbc)

On Wednesday, the children will travel via train and underground to view many of London’s famous landmarks and visit a museum (full details are still to be confirmed).

Thursday 26th June: School-based activities

On Thursday, class and specialist teachers will be leading various music, art and creative sessions throughout the day.

Friday 27th June: Sports Day A.M. /Picnic afternoon at Knox Field

On Friday, the children will take part in Sports Day in the morning and then stay at the field for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, year 6 will take part in some extra sports games

Wednesday 2nd July: Adventure Island Southend

On Wednesday of the following week, we have organised a trip to Southend-on-Sea to ‘Adventure Island.’ The children will be allowed to go on an unlimited number of rides in small groups, whilst accompanied by an adult and will also be eating lunch by the seaside. We will be travelling to Southend by public transport, including the bus and overground C2C train.
